crystal.decnodderCrystal DeCnodder is a freelance writer and marketing consultant. After completing her bachelor’s degree from the University of Lethbridge in 2002, Crystal began her career in the oil and gas sector as a project coordinator on behalf of GLJ Petroleum Consultants Ltd. based in Calgary, Alberta. Since 2012, Crystal has worked with non-profits, emerging business groups, tourism/recreational organizations and technology/startup companies to help share their unique stories and develop their online presence. When Crystal isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing guitar, sampling craft beer, traveling as often as possible and keeping her nose in a good book.

Michael also founded WingsnBeer.com, the most comprehensive online chicken wing resource. His creative and talented crew develop an endless array of web and print projects, social media campaigns, with sage advice and fresh thinking. The team at InkPlot/FBC happily engage our client list with tight deadlines and top notch work. Specialties: Some general areas would include: ROI, creative development, graphic & web design, complex print jobs, site management, marketing plans and creative briefs.

 1238848_10153196497280405_1297839923_n1Kyle Nylund is an artist and a social media consultant for InkPlot and Full Blast Creative in Calgary, Alberta. Kyle completed his Bachelor or Fine Art with a major in Fibre. He has designed and constructed two collections for Alberta Fashion Week, and won the title of ‘Wearable Art Designer of the Year’ from Metro News. Following his degree, Kyle became the Lead in Visual Presentations at the Hudson’s Bay where he designed and implemented visual marketing strategies. After being selected as a finalist for a Digital Alberta Award for best social media campaign, an artistic collaboration with Crystal DeCnodder of InkPlot, Kyle has joined DeCnodder’s creative team at InkPlot. Kyle loves art, dance, and theatre. He is currently working on a painting collection and wearable art piece for the Endeavour Arts Gallery, as well as hula hoop dancing at various events around the city.

Untitled design-43Kevin Luc is a fourth year student of Marketing in the Bachelor of Business Administration at Mount Royal University and is currently working as an intern with the team at InkPlot. Before taking on the position as the Social and PR Intern forInkPlot, Kevin finished up one of his final semesters – one that had given him the greatest experience to this date. Most notable courses were Professional Brand Studio, and Creative Entrepreneurial Experience. Kevin’s experience combined with his desire to understand all facets of digital marketing as well as social media positioned Kevin as a natural contender for the position. We’re happy to work with him and look forward to the projects we believe he will contribute to immensely.

Untitled design-44Brett Hopper has spent eight years in the video production industry, with six of those years working in various locations for Shaw TV. Brett moved to Calgary in January of 2013, continuing to work with Shaw TV, as a producer for their Calgary branch. In January of 2014, He separated from the community TV world to pursue his goal of establishing his own production house, “Good Old Fridge.” His clients, at this point are mostly breweries, but not exclusively. His client list includes Calgary’s X92.9 FM, Western Hockey League, and the Hard Knocks Fighting Championships. Breweries such as Big Rock Brewery, Tool Shed Brewing Co., and Wild Rose Brewery continue to reach out to Good Old Fridge for video production services, establishing and recreating their brand stories. Brett has a degree in Political Science, acquired from the University of Winnipeg, and a diploma in communications from Red River College in Winnipeg, specializing in Broadcast Production.

Untitled design-46Kenzie Housego is a Calgary based artist interested in public engagement, new media, maker culture, user experience, and creatively making things memorable. Recently joining the InkPlot team as an associate, Kenzie brings over 6 years of experience working in communications, visual design, media consulting, public relation, and marketing fields.
She has been professionally involved with several galleries, and coordinated art exhibitions, art receptions, and musical events in the Calgary area. Kenzie held a head marketing position with the Waves Coffee Alberta Franchise region for several years and has since done a significant amount of contract work with the Flemish Eye Record Label, The Art Gallery of Calgary, Wreck City, as well as various home development companies, Calgary. When she isn’t working Kenzie is busy working on her artistic practice, which currently is exploring the combination of art and technology. She and her artistic collaborators are designing a wearable tech fashion collection for the upcoming 2015 MakeFashion show.
